Located on the shore of Long Island Sound, this house in a tailored variation of the Shingle Style is situated to create an expansive lawn to the south and more enclosed, private areas to the north. The house is approached from the water side, but entered through a courtyard at the rear to allow principal living areas to take advantage of the views to the south. A continuous porch shades these rooms from the sun and creates outdoor living areas.  A combination garage and pool house overlooks a swimming pool at the north end of the property.
