Located in a ‘twenties building designed by James E.R. Carpenter, this project involved the reorganization and refurbishment of an apartment to create a setting which would showcase the owner’s extensive collection of contemporary art.  A richly detailed entry gallery, with limestone flooring with stainless steel trim, dark-blue lacquered walls, and natural mahogany doors, is the focal point of the apartment. The living room and dining room open onto each other, creating a space that commands views from Park Avenue to Central Park. Interior design was carried out by the firm Paula and Martha.
